Eldfast and Lava Show Sign Long-Term Service Agreement, Cementing Years of Collaboration
Today Eldfast ehf signed a long-term service agreement with Lava Show, the world’s only live lava performance.
The partnership, built over years of close collaboration, supports the show’s dramatic lava pours—real molten lava heated to over 1,100°C.
Lava Show, famous for being the only live lava show in the world, recreates real volcanic eruptions by pouring molten lava at temperatures exceeding 1,100°C (2,000°F) in front of a live audience. The unique and extreme nature of the experience demands high-performance materials that can withstand intense thermal stress.

Eldfast has provided refractory material and technical support since the early days of the show and now recently custom-made linings.
The new contract outlines continued cooperation, maintenance, materials supply, emergency support, and plans for future system improvements.
