Frevar KF chooses to give us renewed confidence by entering into a new 4-year framework agreement. The purpose of the agreement is to secure operations through the replacement and repair of the refractory brickwork in the boilers at the energy recovery plant in Fredrikstad. The plant consists of 2 combustion lines, each with a combustion capacity of approx. 5 t/h. The energy from the waste is recovered in the form of superheated steam at 400 C, 40 bar in the header after the boiler, which is delivered to nearby processing industries. Each of the furnace lines has an operating time of approx. 8200 hours per year.
As part of the annual maintenance, the masonry must be inspected and necessary repair work carried out. The work is normally carried out twice per year, one stop in the spring and one in the autumn. The condition of the masonry and the extent of the work to be carried out is not known until the individual combustion line has been stopped and an inspection carried out. Ildfast is responsible for all necessary planning and implementation of the overall delivery. In addition to carrying out the planned audit shutdowns, Ildfast ensures a high level of preparedness through stocking of relevant materials and well-maintained equipment at our warehouse in Vestby.
